AEM images are best added to the page by dragging them from the Assets panel into the component.

You can search for images by file name keywords, or you can browse by folder.

To add an image, select the ‘Configure’ wrench for the component, then drag the desired image into the component.

You can also click on the Metadata tab within the component if you need to mark the image as decorative, customize the Alt Text or Caption text imported from the Digital Asset Manager, make the image into a clickable link, or assign an ID value if you want to be able to create an anchor link to that image on your page.
