- Purple Heart Highway north- and southbound shoulder closures from Montana Avenue to Spur 601
Crews will be widening main lanes and constructing north- and southbound frontage road.
Sergeant Major Bridge Reconstruction Project
Monday, February 2 to Friday, February 6
- Purple Heart Highway (Loop 375) southbound right lane closure between Torch Street and Railroad Drive
Crews will be working on the shoulder to replace the crash cushion.
Continuous closure until March 2026
- Purple Heart Highway (Loop 375) north- and southbound Sargent Major Exit Ramps closed
Crews will be working on ramp widening and shared use path extension.

Crews will be working on final striping placement.

I-10 Landscape and Aesthetic Project
Monday, February 2 to Friday, February 6
Daily, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- I-10 westbound right lane closure between Zaragoza Road and Lee Trevino Drive
- I-10 westbound right lane closure between Lomaland Drive and Yarbrough Drive
- Gateway West left lane closure at Zaragoza Road
Crews will be installing lighting and placing steel structures.
Bridge Maintenance Project
Sunday, February 1 to Thursday, February 5
Nightly, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- I-110 northbound connector to I-10 eastbound closed
- US 54 southbound connector to I-10 eastbound closed
- I-10 East exit 23A will be closed.
- Gateway Boulevard East will be closed at Marr Street.
Crews will be performing maintenance work on bridge.
Horizon/Darrington Reconstruction Project
Monday, February 2 to Friday, February 6
Daily, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Horizon Boulevard westbound right lane and shoulder closure between Rodman Street and Darrington Road
Crews will perform electrical work on islands in intersection.
- Darrington Road south- and northbound alternating left lane closure between Nunda Drive and Horizon Boulevard
Crews will be working on ped poles in the medians.
Continuous closure until Friday, March 13 at 4 p.m.
- Darrington Road southbound full closure between Horizon Boulevard and Homestead Drive
Crews will be working on southbound Darrington Road.
Continuous closure until March 2026
- Pete La Rue Circle will follow detour entrance and exit at Roslyn Drive
Crews will be working on storm culverts, final subgrade, pavement operations and milling.
Safety Lighting Project

- Titanic Avenue east- and westbound right shoulder closures between Howard Street and Pandora Street
- Copia Street north-and southbound alternating lane closure between Wyoming Avenue and Hueco Avenue
- Dyer Street north-and southbound alternating lane closure between Kemp Avenue and Van Buren Avenue
Crews will be doing shoulder work.
FM 258 Safety Improvements Project
Monday, February 2 to Friday, February 6
Daily, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Socorro Road east- and westbound right lane closure between Winn Road and Apodaca Road
Crews will be working on installation of sidewalks, driveways, and curbs.
PROJECTS WITH CONTINUOUS CLOSURES
Montana Widening Project
Continuous closure until December 2026
- Montana Avenue eastbound frontage road reduced to one lane from Lee Boulevard to Tierra Este Road
- Montana Avenue and Joe Battle Boulevard intersection, northbound and southbound of Joe Battle through lanes closed.
- Montana Avenue westbound frontage road reduced to two lanes from Tierra Este Road to Joe Battle Boulevard
Crews will be working on building underpass.
I-10 Hudspeth Safety Rest Area
Continuous closure until further notice
- I-10 east- and westbound shoulder work between Fort Hancock and McNary
Crews will be working on surface grading.
Median Concrete Barrier Project
Continuous closure until further notice
- Montana Avenue (US 62/180) east and westbound complete left lane closure between RM 124 and RM 126 (Guadalupe Peak)
- Traffic will be reduced to one lane in work areas.
Closure is necessary for installation of median concrete barrier.
RM 652 Full Widening Project
Continuous closure until further notice
- RM 652 westbound lanes reduced to one lane two-way traffic from FM 3541 to Kimble Draw Bridge
Closure is necessary for the reconstruction of the roadway.
RM 652 Full Depth Rehabilitation Project
Continuous closure until further notice
- RM 652 east and westbound alternating lane closure 8.36 miles east of FM 3541 to Reeves County Line
- Continuous two-way traffic, one-lane work zone requiring traffic to be alternating onto one lane and controlled by Temporary Traffic Signals with a 13-foot lane width restriction.
Closure is necessary for the construction of new roadway consisting of full depth rehabilitation.
