Projects included in these interactive Tableau dashboards are updated daily with data from TxDOT’s transportation program management system, TxDOTCONNECT.

These dashboards are for informational purposes only. The Electronic State Business

(ESBD), the Electronic Bidding System, and the project proposal are the official sources of advertisement and bidding information for the State and Local Lettings. Bidders should bid on the project using the information found therein, including any addenda. These sources take precedence over information from other sources, including TxDOT webpages, which are unofficial and intended for informational purposes only.

Official/unofficial bid item index dashboard

The Official/unofficial bid item index dashboard displays the bid item list and quantities for projects scheduled for TxDOT statewide letting or TxDOT local district lettings. This dashboard updates hourly.

  • Official Bid Items projects are within 21 days of letting.
  • Unofficial Bid Items projects are between 42 days and 22 days before letting.

Bid item averages dashboard

The bid item averages dashboard displays historical bidding information by bid codes for the past 24 months. Users can filter data and explore the historical cost of bid items across all statewide and local district letting projects. This dashboard replaces the previously published documents that included the 3-month and 12-month average cost of bid items. This dashboard updates daily at 6:00 a.m.
