Purpose | The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and Hidalgo County Precinct (Pct.) 1 are proposing to widen, reconstruct and extend Nolana Loop from FM 493 to FM 88 in Hidalgo County, Texas. This notice provides an opportunity to comment as part of the environmental review process for this project. |
Description | This notice advises property owners on changes to the project since the Nov. 20, 2019, public hearing. Specifically, the following changes are being considered for the project:
The proposed project would, subject to final design considerations, require additional right of way and potentially displace three residences and one non-residential structure. Relocation assistance is available for displaced persons and businesses. Information about the TxDOT Relocation Assistance Program and services and benefits for those displaced and other affected property owners, as well as information about the tentative schedule for right-of-way acquisition and construction, can be obtained from Hidalgo County Pct. 1 Offices, 1902 Joe Stephens Ave., Ste. 101, Weslaco, TX 78596 or by calling (956) 968-8733. Any environmental documentation or studies, maps and drawings showing the project location and design, tentative construction schedules, and other information regarding the proposed project are on file and available for inspection Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the address and phone number provided above. Project materials are also available online at www.hidalgocounty.us. |
