About TxDOTThe Fort Worth District is proposing safety improvements for the intersection of US 281 at US 380 south of Jacksboro in Jack County, Texas. The proposed 1.5-mile project would construct overpass bridges on US 281 over the existing intersection at US 380. The proposed project would require the purchase of a new right of way. Construction is estimated to begin in 2028.
