FM 3351 from Desperado Way to SH 46

Project background

The Texas Department of Transportation San Antonio District is proposing to improve FM 3351 from Desperado Way to SH 46, in Fair Oaks Ranch and portions of Bexar, Comal, and Kendall counties, Texas. TxDOT has been working collaboratively with the City of Fair Oaks Ranch, Bexar County, Comal County, and Kendall County to help identify corridor issues and concerns.

Project description

TxDOT is proposing to widen FM 3351 within the project limits. The proposed number of travel lanes will be determined as the project develops. As part of the project development process, various environmental studies will be conducted and the need for bicycle and pedestrian accommodations will be evaluated. The proposed typical section(s) will be based on enhanced safety and improved travel times while avoiding and minimizing environmental impacts, to the extent practicable.
