Steering Committee

TxDOT has established a Steering Committee for the US 377 Texas Corridor Study to guide and oversee the study and ensure its successful completion. This committee, made up of key stakeholders and decision-makers, provides strategic direction, sets priorities, and makes high-level decisions to keep the study aligned with its objectives. The Steering Committee is comprised of members drawn from the three Segment Working Groups—North, Central, and South—bringing different perspectives and expertise. Meeting three times throughout the study, the Steering Committee ensures the project remains focused and accountable while incorporating recommendations that benefit all stakeholders.

Segment Working Groups

TxDOT has established three Segment Working Groups to support the US 377 Texas Corridor Study. These three segment working groups, each representing a geographic segment—North, Central, and South, as shown on the corridor study map—play a vital role in the study. Created to assist in discussing the needs, challenges, and recommendations tailored to their respective segments, each Segment Working Group includes key stakeholders such as District Judges, city, and town Mayors, MPOs, COGs, chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, RPOs, private industry leaders, and advocacy groups. These groups will meet three times throughout the study to provide essential input and submit their recommendations to the Steering Committee for the US 377 Texas Corridor Study.
