North Houston Highway Improvement Project (NHHIP) 3C-2

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) held a pre-procurement partnering industry workshop on July 28, 2025 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm (Central Time) with industry partners to share information related to the development, procurement, and implementation of the NHHIP 3C-2 Project (Project). The workshop was held in person in the Houston District Auditorium located at 7600 Washington Avenue, Houston, Texas 77007.

TxDOT held two rounds of pre-procurement partnering one-on-one meetings with design-build teams, prime contractors, or lead engineering firms at the Houston District office to discuss the development, procurement, and implementation of the Project. The first round of one-on-one meetings were held September 9-11, 2025 and the second round of one-on-one meetings were held January 13 and 14, 2026.

Before issuing the request for qualifications, TxDOT intends to hold a second industry workshop on August 10, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Central Time) with industry partners to share updated information related to the development, procurement, and implementation of the Project. The workshop will be held in person as the Houston District Auditorium located at 7600 Washington Avenue, Houston, Texas 77007.

Attendance at the workshops and one-on-one meetings is not mandatory and interested parties shall remain eligible to participate in future project solicitations if they did not attend. TxDOT held the workshop and one-on-one meetings solely to share and obtain information. It does not represent a commitment to issue a request for qualifications or a request for proposals in the future.
