Texas Innovation Alliance
Innovative Transportation
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) works collectively with state, regional, and local public agencies to manage the state’s transportation system. These collaborations help to shape project delivery outcomes and identify innovations and technologies that improve the safety and efficiency of Texas roadways.
The Texas Innovation Alliance (TIA) functions as the State Transportation Innovation Council (STIC) for Texas, and is part of the National STIC Network.
The TIA, like the TxSTIC before it, provides a collaborative forum to review and advance innovative initiatives that align with the transportation goals of the state. TIA partnerships, events, and activities are guided by its vision and mission.
This new alignment has established a refreshed vision, mission, scope of responsibilities, membership structure, and administrative framework to guide its operations effectively.
Vision
Advancing Texas transportation safety, efficiency, mobility, and reliability through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation partnerships.
Mission
Connecting Texans with the future of transportation through innovation.
